THE CHARTER — HOW IT WORKS

Big Fish Bay of Islands runs a full-day charter operation out of Paihia. Departure is typically at first light, fishing through the peak morning bite. The skipper and crew locate fish using local knowledge, sonar and real-time observation of bird activity and baitfish movement.
