Why Drift Boating

If you've never fished from a drift boat, it's one of the most exciting ways to fish a river -- most fish are caught close to the boat, making for electric sight fishing as you cover water most walk-and-wade anglers never reach.

Your Guide

Bo Nikolic has over 20 years of guiding experience across Australia, New Zealand, USA and Europe, and is an accredited guide in New Zealand and the USA. He runs backcountry trips across Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania for the more adventurous angler, with a 100% safety record and no incidents.

Beyond the Boat

Fly Fishing Guides Australia also runs guided fly fishing on foot, one-on-one casting lessons, a Beginners 2-Day Workshop, an in-depth Fly Fishing Education Program covering trout behaviour, casting mechanics, river anatomy and entomology -- and, for something completely different, a 3-hour Platypus Drift with no fishing involved, just watching for platypus on the water.
