Standard 7 night/6 day Private Room/Private Guide package includes: six days of 1×1 guided fishing, individual lodgings, three daily meals, bottled water, sodas, beer and wine, fishing license, Starlink internet, departure tax, laundry service, pick up/drop off from/to CXI airport, transportation while on Kiritimati and 12.5% VAT on your lodge stay.

Upon arrival at Christmas Island Airport (CXI), you’ll be met by our friendly staff and swiftly transported to the lodge. The airport is conveniently small and easy to navigate. Your adventure begins within minutes of touching down on the island, and our exceptional week of angling awaits!

Terms and Conditions
Your journey to Christmas Island Lodge is just a booking away. Confirm your reservation with a 50% non-refundable deposit and the completion of all required paperwork. Bookings not confirmed within 14 days of reservation may be cancelled. Full payment is due 60 days in advance of your excursion.
In the event of guest cancellations, Christmas Island Lodge will work to rebook your trip within the next 12 months, holding your deposit until rebooking is completed. Should you not reschedule within that timeframe, your payment will be retained.
We do not accept responsibility for lost fishing days due to missed or cancelled flights, weather delays, sickness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any costs incurred due to delays or unforeseen circumstances are the guest’s responsibility. Lost baggage, equipment, or personal items are also not the responsibility of Christmas Island Lodge.

Captain Cook Christmas Island Angling Adventures – We are proud to announce the re-opening of Christmas Island’s oldest and most historic fishing operation The original Captain Cook Hotel was the first, and most famous fishing lodge to open and operate on Christmas Island in the early 1980s. For nearly 3 decades, it was the place to be on Christmas Island. Unfortunately, years of mismanagement lead to the hotel’s decline. The renovated Christmas Island Lodge is now operated under an exclusive long-term lease and management agreement between US-based Deer Stone Travel and the Government of Kiribati. This agreement is the first of its kind on Kiritimati. Deer Stone Travel brings a long and proven history operating high quality fishing trips in remote areas including Mongolia, Bhutan, Fiji, Chile and the United States. Deer Stone Travel brings a level of international management, hospitality and professionalism that ensures our clients experience the best Christmas Island has to offer!
